Important Quartz surface information
All true quartz engineered stone surfaces, regardless of their title, be it Silestone, Zodiaq, Luxore, Caesarstone or Apollo, are made using exactly the same technology and on the same machine, a Breton Machine.
The only distinguishing factors between these stones, aside from Silestone, which contains anti-bacterial compound, are the different colour pigments that are used, although haviing witnessed mirror fleck samples of most, there are certain colours, and I'm thinking here predominantly of Black with mirror flecks, that remain almost identical across more than one of the differently named quartz stones.
Our advice, when seeking quartz worktops, is to seek the manufacturer that offers a warranty on their stone and secondly, providing the service is efficient and professional, choose the best price or you may well end up paying substantially more for exactly the same surface. To obtain a quote for Stainless Steel, Corian or Quartz work surfaces, we will require your telephone contact details should any clarification of sizes/drawings be requred, a sketch detailing all dimensions, sink or hob cut-outs, upstands if required and polished edge requirements. The sketch can be faxed or e-mailed to us, (See contact details) with details of your location. All our surfaces are supplied and installed through associated suppliers at extremely competitive costs and templating and installation will form part of the quote.
