Faulty cooker extraction unit.

Postby Steve7 on Thu Sep 09, 2010 11:02 am

Hi,
I have a two year old Lamona cooker chimney extraction unit (HJA2500) which yesterday suddenly stopped working ,I have checked and replaced the fuses on both the main house fuse board and the extractor spur box but with no success. My partner stated that when she attempted to switch the unit on she hard a `pop` sound from somewhere in the unit.

Any ideas please as to the fault and would it be within my scope to carry out any subsequent repair?.

Thank You
Steve7
