Hello,

I am designing my own kitchen and would appreciate some expert advice.
Is it OK to fit a 600 built under

double oven directly next to a 950 corner carousel base unit? I also have a 600 ceramic hob and chimney extractor to fit above

the oven.

Welcome to the

forum yostin,

To answer your question it depends on the configuration of your corner unit. If the doors are overlay

type then the door adjacent the oven may not open fully or infringe on the oven.
An inset carousel door configuration will

cause no such problems.

If you are prepared to accept the infringement it is perfectly acceptable but may not, as I

say, open to it’s full capacity.

you for your reply. I will check the door configuration. Do you foresee any problems with heat transfer to what is essentially

a food storage cupboard. This will be MFI kit by

the way.
