Welcome to the forum, This is a subject I haven’t yet covered in the articles and although it is rarely used in kitchen designs because of it’s poor use of space it still holds an aesthetic attraction for some. Many worktop jigs have a mitreing facility for a corner solution in addition to clear instruction to the procedure to undertake to perform the task. 900mm double postform the rear edge of the worktop is too shallow to fit into the corner and will require a triangular worktop section to overcome this in a butt joint configuration. depth of 885mm. As an alternative I have in the past forsaken the butt joint by creating a raised triangular shelf which proved useful Mitres are formed similarly as to a 90 degree joint but for this design the jig employs a softer radius. clear instruction and I will e-mail details to you. Let us know how you go on here prw, Tim |
