Re washing machine/dishwasher drains. Is it okay to

connect a dishwasher drain to an existing 40mm washing machine horizontal drain,

(which is seperate from the sink

drain) via a second downpipe teed into it?

I

don’t see this as presenting a problem but would draw the line at allowing three appliances into one drain outlet. Fitting an

access branch where the drain exits to outside would

be a sensible thing to do here in case a blockage ever

occurs.
