I haven’t bought my extractor fan yet so I don’t

have the instructions, but for planning does anyone know how much of a gap there must be from the hob to the height of the extractor ? I seem to remember 700mm

The correct height is detailed in manufacturers instructions and this

is your best guideline so it would be advisable to choose one before you make installation plans that could prove illegal if outside of the minimum height suggested by your chosen

manufacturer.
