I will be fitting wall units to a wall that

is dry lined (spot boarded). What type of fixings and size would you recommend? . I am concerned about the gap between the plaster board and concrete block behind the plaster board

causing problems when I tighten the wall units onto to the wall. I have asked the plasterer to use plently of board adhesive.

In this instance I would recommend at least 80mm x 10 guage for this purpose and don’t forget to incline the drill downwards

when drilling the wall.

Ensure you locate the rawlplug into the brick or blockwork after drilling and before fixing the wall bracket.

This can be achieved by screwing it slightly onto the screw locating the hole and knocking it home with a hammer.
