I have a 5mm gradient drop from the wall to a point 600mm out from it. Should I trim the base of the cabinets or would it be better to pack the gap with timber? Thanks |

Steve, For this amount you would be better raising the cabinet by packing, but your post leads me to believe that your cabinets are not on adjustable feet and this seems rare. Can you clarify things a little? |

Tim Unfortunately you have guessed correctly. The cabinets are, indeed, “footless”. They were a surprise “present” from my wife when she was lured by a 30% Wickes discount. If there are any doubters out there let me reiterate what Tim has posted on several occasions… As far as kitchen units are concerned you really do seem to get what you pay for. Thanks for the advice I’ll get packing (my bags as well if she has any more surprises like this one lined up for me!!!) Steve |
