Hanging wall cabinets – How do I achieve hanging strength?

I want to hang wall cabinets to a wall that has been plasterboarded over a brick wall, but there is a 7mm gap between the plasterboard and bricks. The plasterboards appear to have a

cosmetically acceptable finish.

What sort of plugs/screws do I need to use to ensure a wall unit will hang securely through this plasterboard+gap+brick wall?

Appreicate any help.

To achieve strength on a dry lined application you will have to drill to a suitable depth into the brickwork behind the board and use conventional rawlplugs with longer screws. In

this instace I would suggest 70/80mm x 10′s guage and rawlplugs to match.
