This is the most helpful site I have come across since surfing for help in the last 3 hours,

Thankyou!

Can you please help me? I have a 1000mm base unit as a corner base running along a wall on the left. To the right @ 90 degrees from the corner of this base will be my washing machine

(free standing). according to the plans, I have an end support panel within the depth of the worktop, this I am assuming is to close one half of the unit that will not have the door

attached and give it the colour matched finish. what is confusing me is I have been given 2 corner posts one smaller than the other, assuming one is for my wall cabinets where on the

base cabinet do I fit this post? or do I need it at all?

Regards

Ian

You need to fit the

corner fillet to your 1000mm base in order to give room for the door to swing open, the support panel would go behind the corner fillet (on the RHS).
You won’t be able to see the support panel once you’ve installed your washing machine, but it will prevent the washing machine moving behind the corner fillet.
I hope this helps :D
