While redoing an older kitchen I want to reuse the cabinet

carcases but need to cut down the height of the new (MDF)doors to fit – I think I can cope with that – but need to cut new mounting holes for one of the hinges – any bright ideas how

to do this please :?:

Router seems a possibility but expensive for what will hopefully be a one off job

Sandy, What you need is a 35mm hinge hole cutter, a

cheapish one will do for 1 set of doors.

The trouble is you really do need to either use a drilling machine, or at least a drill mounted in a stand. (hire maybe?)

With these two things and a careful approach, it’s a doddle.
