Hi

Folks

I’m looking for some simple advice on this one if possible please (I’m a bit low on technical knowledge)

I’ve just moved into a ground floor flat which has an immersion heater for hot water which is appproximately 4.5 foot off

the ground.
We have great water pressure from the cold taps but we cant manage much more than dribble from the hot tap. It

can take up to 5 minutes to fill the bowl in the sink from the hot tap!

(the bath is no better)
Does anyone have

any suggestions besides raising the hot tank which isnt possible?

Many thanks….in desperation.

You

have an immersion heater therfore you will have a copper

cylinder supplied by a plastic cold water tank above the

cylinder. Given that you are in a ground floor flat you might be lacking in head pressure.
Come back with more details

about exactly what appliances – what and where.
