hi i ‘m new to the site and i’m just wondering whats the best way to vent my extractor fan through the wall up through the cavity 700 mm then out through the brick .i need to do it this way as i have a ground floor extension and its the only way i can vent it .i’m wondering if there is a flexible pipe or kit that i could try bearing in mind the mortar between the brick joints squishing out to make the cavity narrower.any ideas? :D

WANDA
when faced with somthing like this i usually get into the ceiling void and between joists to nearest outside wall!
easy for me as im usually renewing everything anyway,
the only way i can think of is to remove the internal wall by the reqiured width and height and inset fixed flat ducting using preset angles, this can be purchased at most good hardware stores., Again this method depends on your skill levels. Hope this helps :)

Mark,
Thanks for your answer here.
It’s great to have other installers getting involved on the forum.
