I know that

there is a product, I’ve seen it. Just don’t know where

I have a gas built-in cooker to replace an existing on.

The people before did not protect the unit, and its’ burn’t quite bad.

Anyone know of what I am talking about ?

Otherwise I’ll improvise

Built in gas cookers are

in the minority of cooker sales in the built in market here in the UK and I can’t recall a product that protects the unit

that houses it however a fabricated metal sheet of aluminium should offer the protection you require.
Try a google search

for a metal fabricator in your area,

Good Luck

Tim.
