We’re in the process

of a big kitchen redesign (+ some building work), and in the meantime have bought a new integrated dishwasher for the empty

hole in our kitchen (previous owners). Since we’ll need to dismantle everything in a couple of months it seems pointless to

carefully attach the dishwasher to the side cabinets unless it is actually necessary.

So, is it ok to use this

freestanding or is vital to screw the sides in? (Surface is corian so assume we’re not screwing things to

that).

As far as I know the fixings are to give security so that when you pull the door

open the dishwasher does not move/ tip forward. It should be fine to use free standing. Just be careful opening it and loading

it with the door open
