Ive got a bit of a problem. When i fitted my base units I fitted a 20mm batten behind to allow for services. I then bought and had fitted a worktop. Stupidly i bought a standard width worktop, which the fitter put with a tniy overhang at the front, and therefore a gap at the back between worktop and wall of up to 15mm. I need to tile the wall above the worktop as the plaster finish is not good. obviously the tile is not thick enough to fill the gap – any ideas? cheers |

Kingy, Have you thought about installing deeper worksurfaces? depth of the base units and although it will add an unnecessary expense it will offer a professional finish as opposed to an all too evident quick fix. Tim |

Hmm, having spent £250 on the worktop and fitting already I was really hoping to avoid that! I am pretty willing to live with a quick fix if you have any other ideas? |

How about an upstand. These are normally available to match the worktop and would be the right thickness |
