what is the stuff called to

join granite worktops and where can it be got?.
also what is the best way to finish it to get a seamless joint.
is there a product to seamless joint light coloured marble/granite.

Scottie,

Granite worktops are jointed using a two part adhesive.
There may be a number of other manufacturers in the UK but the one that springs to my mind is an imported product made by IMPA of Italy called Super Ancora.
I have no doubt it is distributed throughout the UK and to determine this in your area I advise you contact the company’s e mail at info@impa.it

Granite worktops do not offer a seamless joint, this can only be achieved by surfaces such as Corian, Swanstone, Minerelle and other acrylic and polyester solid surfaces.

The natural sheen of granite and the engineered stones such as Zodiaq, Luxore and Caesarstone, cannot be emulated by the acrylic finishes and this remains a distinguishing factor when

choosing your countertops.
