Hi Paul and welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately laminate tops cannot be repaired once damage has occurred.
You may find some temporary measure to conceal the damage but a long term solution isn’t possible.
I hate to point you in the direction of worktop savers but if the damage is in a place you could use for chopping then it may be possible to fit one as an inset piece after cutting

out the damage.

Sorry I couldn’t offer an easier solution here Paul.
