Hi….. Im keen on DIY and am about to install my

first kitchen…I thought this would be a good time to invest in a compound mitre saw but am a little unsure as to exactly which type to buy. There seems to be a large variety of

makes available and a huge rang in prices… I want a good quality tool that will be of use in the future for other projects, I have a budget of max £100. I Would be grateful of any

pointers as to what are the key features to look out for.

Not wishing to sound too arrogant here, knowing your budget I’m not too confident that you would end up with a quality product capable of consistency if you are wishing to use it on

a regular basis, but I will bow to the better judgement of any other members who may know of a quality saw that falls within your budget.
