Hello All, register! product. understand simply what is acceptable and is not. spec the finished product befor compleation, if not questions are raised towards the end of a project as to wether or not certain aspects of the work should be done in such a way, gladly i can say very few questions come my way,and experience now has my snags list too a minimum. kickboards are the end of the road or are they! To fit a kick board in my opinion there are two ways: the floor and simply fit the board under the flange of the foot, clip in position and the job is done. and fit to the underside of the base unit and rebate the back top edge to fit around the flange of the foot, then refit with clips and plinth edging strip which nicely seals the bottom edge. what is the norm, what do other people do?I have had profesionals look at me sidways because i have mentioned the edge seal! |

Not sure why the importance of a seal is dismissed by professionals Hamish. component is to swelling once water ingress occurs and let’s face it, in the lifetime of any kitchen there will be a number of spillages, not to mention many mophead changes whilst washing the floor surface. with option 2 but the only choice. Tim. |

Hi all Does anyone know where I can buy the plinth edging strips mentioned here? (What are they made of). I’m also thinking of using these for the floor cabinet side-panels, which also touch the floor.. thanks Julian |
