i was installing new door and drawer fronts (18mm thick) and new handles on kitchen carcasses that are 22 years old today the VERY moment i installed two drawer fronts in an internal corner i realised the drawers only had a 4mm passing EXCLUDING handles i was VERY lucky the lady is cool about not using one drawer and has paid me personally im fuming because i didnt notice the original lay flat handles when pricing on the basis a drawer front is 18,, a D handle 36mm and passing tollerance 4mm it looks like the offset on an internal corner needs to be at least 58mm SO, my question is, what is the recommended corner post dimensions PS the layout of the original worktops was such that the carcass overhang was 40mm which feels like more than half my broblem |

Corner posts are pretty standard sized components with a number of manufacturers and when fitted they only allow for a restricted depth of handle. Tim. |
