Hi I wondered if anyone has experience of a German kitchen compamy called RWK? The kitchen designs look cool but I have no idea of the quality. Incidentally, I think I read that a report on the quality of kitchens from various foreign suppliers was due to appear on this site. Any news on that? Thanks DonP |

Firstly Don, Welcome to the forum. With regard to the survey on European manufacturers, I have to say that we had dismal or no response from those we contacted and maybe the thought of answering six tricky and commiting questions put them off, much in the same way it did for our survey of UK manufacturers. We will be attempting this again in the coming weeks with different manufacturers. There are many more trying to break into the UK market and moves are afoot through this website to determine their commitment to UK consumers. I am in great admiration of the two who did respond to our last survey. After all, the commitments and policies of both Magnet and Wentworth is there for all our visitors to judge before making their choice. This is invaluable for consumers and acts as a point of reference. By way of example, I received a call from a woman earlier this evening who made a decision to buy a Wentworth kitchen ahead of a competitor’s on the strength of their answers in the survey. We are aware that RKW are a german manufacturer with a long history and as I did not invite them to participate in the last attempt I will invite them, among others, to respond this time. Their response, should it arrive, may help you make your choice. Tim. |
