I’m being quoted similar prices for exactly the same spec and design from both these firms. Is there anything to distinguish between them by reputation or by technical design? One says they’re a mercedes benz, the other dismisses their opponents detailing, and I’m confused! |

To give you my personal opinion I would opt for German quality over Italian flair however here are a few interesting questions to ask both suppliers to determine the quality of their cabinets. What are the guage of the backpanels in both wall and base cabinets? or MDF? are the lead times for replacements if required? Incidentally, working in association with bespoke manufacturer, we now offer UK delivery on colour matched cabinets in MDF with ABS edges, solid backs to wall and base cabinets, full height sink unit backs and replacement parts within a week. |

Angst. MFC is melamine Faced Chipboard, used commonly in the construction of cabinetry regardless of market status. It is also used on budget door ranges. Medium Density Fibreboard, a higher spec and more durable board that is widely used as to produce a more upmarket door finish either lacquered, foilwrapped or veneered. Not often will you source an MDF Cabinet but we can now offer this through an associated manufacturer in a choice of finishes. |
