I just fitted an IKEA kitchen, and ran into a problem. IKEA units are deeper than normal ones; 600mm to front of doors. I didn’t use IKEA worktops, but instead bought standard 600mm deep ones. Now I have a variable gap between worktop and splashback, from 2mm to 6mm, that I need to fill as neatly as possible. I thought of using that plastic stuff for edging tiles, but it has a convex profile, and I would (ideally) like a concave profile. Any of you experts got an suggestions for the best way to deal with this bodge? |

Sean, It seems you only have one option here silicone sealant will offer you the concave finish you require. Fortunately I have just received details of an easier method of application using an innovative tool. I’ve included details in a private message to you. Good luck and let us know how it performs. |
