I do not want to use a trim to hide gap between laminate worktop and tiles on wall. So

is it ok to grout it or should I use silicone?

I would prefer silicone or something simular because I’m worried

grouting will not look good. However I would need black or cream colour (Jasmine) silicone as worktop is black and tiles are

creamy (jasmine) colour. Are any of these colours available? :?:

Silicone will act as a barrier against water ingress

and is available in cream and black although cream seems the better option for you.
The reasson I say this is that there is

an art to applying it for a neat finish and cream or beige silicone is more readily available.

Apply a thin bead along

the tile edge and smooth it in with your fingertip.
Try it on a test piece first to ensure you get te hang of

it.

Many kitchen and bath sealants available in the large DIY stores are of an acrylic base and this is to be avoided.

Check the description before purchasing.
