I’m buying a flat with a 3’8″ (approx 1100mm) by 19′ kitchen! Really want approx 16″ (approx 400mm)

depth in appliances and work surfaces, to still have plenty of

room to move about. Does anyone know of a company that

deals with appliances like cookers, fridges, etc with shallow depths? Also looking for a company that would be good for

building the actual units, very much doubt there will be ready kitchens at that size… Thank you for any help! Lina

Lina,

Welcome to our forum.
I think

perhaps you are flogging a dead horse here in trying to source appliances capable of achieving your design goals and it really

doesn’t seem necessary considering the overall

length of your kitchen. A one wall configuration is more than capable

of housing your needs and I suggest you use this as your starting point.

Good planning here is essential and you must

bear in mind such criteria as locating your extractor and cooker on a wall elevation, your sink central to a window, if one is

existent,

and ensuring your doors are capable of opening to a maximum given that a standard depth of 600mm will only

leave you with 500mm working space in front of your design.

Regards,

Tim.
