Paul, It is of course in the interests of John Lewis and other large stores, to re-brand them so a bit of detective work is first required to discover who the manufacturer is. With John Lewis this is certainly the case with their worktop offerings and a surface we offer here, Luxore, is re-branded to their in store buyers. That’s not the end of the story however, and the aim is to identify the door you want from a quality provider and at a more affordable cost elsewhere. |

The supplier might be Mereway – they certainly supply some of the John Lewis kitchens – but I doubt if going to one of their Cucina Colore retailers would be any cheaper. There are loads of cheaper handleless doors around – but that streamlined look with a continuous aluminium strip behind the doors/drawer fronts isn’t a standard UK style. Most of the less expensive doors have self coloured handle grooves. The only one I know, that might fit the bill, is Crown Imperial’s Furore Handle-less. You can contact them for local retailers. |

Oh well – that bit’s no problem Paul – they probably use Blum’s servo-drive system which can be fitted to almost any kitchen range (as long as it has the bi-fold door arrangement): http://www.blum.com/us/en/01/20/60/index.php Of course, it’s not cheap … |
