Hi Again!

Another question:

Where is the best place to look for tiles? The only place near me is Topps Tiles, but I couldn’t find the style of tiles I was looking for! Are there any other places I could look?

Also, do you know anything about undertile heating? and companies such as DEVI?

I like the idea, and was wondering whether it is worthwhile? and reliable? It seems pretty straight forward!

Also, I read that Undetile heating is designed for Ceramic tiles! Can it be used with Porcelain Tiles?

Thanx for any help you can offer!

Pav,

Not being an expert on undefloor heating I couldn’t offer an opinion but with regard to kitchen tiling, I am a great fan of splashbacks as an alternative and Bushboard, the worktop

manufacturer, has introduced a system whereby you can install splashbacks around most kitchen configurations such as windows and boxing in.
Once sealed to the worktop they provide a waterproof barrier and are much easier to keep clean than tiles.
You can contrast the colour with that of your worktops and they mannufacture an innovative rail system designed for use with the splashback. Altogether a worthwhile change.

Hope this helps,

Tim.

Thanx!

I will look into the splashback idea! Is there anywhere that I could find more information, such as a website?

Thanx!
