Hi Tim, i am

currently writing a report recommending hardware, operating systems and software for a kitchen design consultancy firm as part of my degree course. I have seen your post as regards

software which i found informative and usefull, and i was wondering if you could enlighten me as to what OS and hardware you would recommend. Apple macs have always been great for

graphics design i know, but some programs, such as the ArtiCAD only work on windows.

If you’d let me know what you personally use or could give some recommendations it would really help my research.

Regards,

Mat

Sorry Matt,

I’ve not been ignoring you and I detest seeing a 0 next to replies for a post.
Operating systems for design is not something I feel qualified to advise you upon and I will bow to the better judgement of a designer in the hope that someone can assist you on this.
However there are a growing number of kitchen design software programmes aimed at both the proffessional designer and the budding designers among us.

You may wish to look at the following links in addition to those previously posted. I would recommend that you contact them to aid your research in greater depth.
Good Luck.
