Paul,

Welcome to the forum.

Your worktop can be installed at any height and while we’re on this point it’s worth saying that ,with the emphasis ever more on ergonomics in the kitchen, worktops can be raised to

suit your comfort zone but you will require extended height plinth and cabinet feet will require support using a sufficient sized batten fixed to the floor.
