Hi All, First post on this forum, i’m not in the trade, so dont be too technical, lol. I have fitted my own kitchen, and I am about to start tiling certain parts of the walls, but I need some help!! |

I should add that i’m just looking for something to go between/sit ontop of work top and the wall.. To finish it of, so there isnt a gap. I’m sure you know what i mean? |

Thanks for your reply Tim. I still am going to tile the wall, but even with the depth of tile +cement, it doesnt close the gap enough. The thing is i need a upstand? at least an inch thick to hide the gap between the work top and the tiled wall…… |

yep! lol, its only at one end, around 2 ft long, max a friend has already suggested that, but wanted to see if there was any other way round it…… Its not looking good. |

Hi tim, just measured the gap again, and its 23mm, the 40mm is the max width it can be…. Does that change things? Simon |

Just to add, i was told wrong measurements on phone, before any one doubts the rest of the kitchen, as someone b1tched about this on another forum, lol. |
