Hi,

Homebase are currently offering big discounts on Hygena kitchens. Has anyone had any recent experience of this manufacturer? How do they stack up against IKEA or similar?

Well to express my own opinion Ben, what most buyers tend to ignore is the carcass spec, regardless of who the manufacturer is and that should be the criteria you seek at best cost.
18mm base and wall cabinets, 18mm backboard, ABS protected front edges, metal drawer boxes such as Blumotion, - the doors? Well, that's a personal choice and whether acrylic, wood, vinyl wrapped, there are lots of choices but those backed by longer guarantees have the faith of the manufacturer offering them so I'd use that as a yardstick.
