ASKILAN WORKTOPS
How do I get rid of stains that have appeared on my worktops......my kitchen fitters used some sort of chemical
after fitting that put a great shine and seal on it but they have since gone bust and I have no one to ask.
Can anyone out there help please.

Gill,
Unfortunately there is very little information on Askilan and I am aware that the material was distributed from a company in Hull whose website no longer appears to be live. The surface was made in Belgium and the Askilan main website no longer appears to be operating. As we only offer Corian Solid Surface at TFI then I can only offer the following information on the assumption that it may work to remove scratches from Askilan. The information provided by the link below is listed on the DuPont website.
http://www2.dupont.com/Surfaces/en_US/products/corian/corian_care.html
Hope this helps in some way Gill.
Just to remind those contemplating buying Solid Surface that the fabrication and installation of Corian is regulated
by DuPont and this differentiates it from other Solid Surfaces giving the consumer peace of mind should manufacturing issues ever occur.
