I am looking for some assistance on the split-level I have just purchased. Here is a photo of the kitchen:

We have replaced all of the appliances with stainless steel and I am accenting with a bright green.

Wheres the best place to join two lengths of worktops in relation to the base units.Is it better to make the join over the side of the base units or does it not make any difference. Hope this makes sense.

Hi, hope someone can advise on this - is it safe to have a joint in a quartz worktop (30mm) under the hob, that is going through the hob cut-out? The worktop has a 33cm overhang and the units are free-standing (ie not against a wall).
