Can't decide on kitchen floor colour
Hello,
We just had a rear extension done to our house, so our kitchen/dining room is now an L shape with the main section being 5m x 3m.
We have gone for gloss white kitchen units. The worktop we would like is gloss black granite.
We have decided on a brushed steel free standing range cooker.
The walls between base and wall units will probably be painted a bright colour like magenta.
We can't decide ...

I'm nearly there just need a confidence boost.
Small room 6ft by 6ft, no window.
Cream, plain units.
Walnut block laminate worktop
Blanco Silgranit Jasmin small sink and Blanco chrome tap
Small cream metro tiles underneath wall cupboards, rest of walls to be painted
Room has walnut skirters, already there, do not plan to change or paint another colour as rest of house is same.

HELP - HOW TO FIND A GOOD KITCHEN FITTER
Hi,
I AM A STATISTIC!!!! I ordered a new German kitchen last September and the kitchen company recommended an installer. They didnt tell me however he was a cowboy. Adding to the misery, the "free" designer made a few fundamental errors. Again the kitchen company tell me they are not responsible as he is freelance, as is the cowboy, and I'm told they are not responsible for either of these so called profs.

sink in peninsula
I want to put a sink in a peninsula/breakfast bar but don't want the water to splash behind the bar. I don't want an upstand so what is the minimum width I have to allow behind the sink for water spills? I assume I can't get away with the standard width.
