Hole to be filled

Hi,

I

have a freestanding dual fuel oven, in a gap in the middle of my kitchen units. I now would like to change my oven and am

considering a built in/ built under option. (whats the difference?) I have a spare full-length worktop from when the kitchen

was originally fitted, and also a spare cupboard that fills the gap!!

Would I be able to fit an oven in this gap and a

hob on ...

Chunky/Industrial/Concrete kitchens

Hi

there, after a few minutes on your site I'm hoping you might have the key to a design idea i've had.

I have a

lovely old conversion flat with wood as far as the eye can see, including original floorboards and sash windows in the

kitchen. The current kitchen is appalling and needs to be ditched asap, but I want to find the perfect replacement first.

I'm after something very industrial looking, to contrast ...

Shallow appliances for very narrow kitchen!

I'm buying a flat with a 3'8" (approx 1100mm) by 19' kitchen! Really want approx 16" (approx 400mm)

depth in appliances and work surfaces, to still have plenty of

room to move about. Does anyone know of a company that

deals with appliances like cookers, fridges, etc with shallow depths? Also looking for a company that would be good for

building the actual units, very much doubt there will be ready kitchens at that size... ...

How does this look?

Any comments appreciated.
There is a sink below a window at the top end of the

dogleg run.
Next to the fridge freezer is a wide patio window and the internal door is next to the single unit on the long

wall.

Built under double oven next to carousel unit

Hello,

I am designing my own kitchen and would appreciate some expert advice.
Is it OK to fit a 600 built under

double oven directly next to a 950 corner carousel base unit? I also have a 600 ceramic hob and chimney extractor to fit above

the oven.

Thank you,

Justin.

Kitchen makeover

This is a great site, I hope you can help us

over a design hurdle.

From the top:
The Mrs and I are redoing a kitchen from the 1960's. We are ripping out the cabinetry, flooring and soffets. It has 8' ceilings (we're in the USA so I don't speak metric).
She has decided on an oak harwood floor that will be in a mid to dark finish. The cabinets will be custom made out ...

help on planning

Hi Tim, found

your site which looks like kitchen Nirvana to novices like myself. Sorry fo the amount of questions which might be asked, some which have probably been asked already but anyway here

I am planning a 2800mm galley kitchen along a wall which contains all the existing waste/supply water/electric services. To keep costs down I am hoping to buy factory made carcass's

Design query

Hi

I've got a bit of a dilema with the flooring I am going to have in my kitchen. I have ivory shaker units with a beech wood worktop and cannot decide what flooring to go with. I

have decided against wooden flooring but not sure what tiling to go with, perhaps terracotta or grey.

I have even considered changing my worktops to black granite to make my decision easier as I would then have ...
