Wheres the best place to join two lengths of worktops in relation to the base units.Is it better to make the join over the side of the base units or does it not make any difference. Hope this makes sense.

I'm currently planning the replacement of an old MFI/Schrieber kitchen that I fitted myself. Looking at what is on offer now, Ikea seems to be around 1/3 the price of, say, Wickes during a 50% sale. This seems worryingly cheap, but I can't see anything obviously wrong with them. I'm happy to spend the time carefully assembling the units, but what experience do other people have of Ikea units? Are they cheap for any reason ...

I've just purchased an intergrated fridge and have noticed that although the cabinet is sguare and level that the fridge is not. There are no feet so I cant adjust the fridge. There is no mention in the instructions concerning the levelling of the fridge.the cabinet door for the front Is fitted on a sliding mechanism.
