Integrated Worktop Bin

Hi everyone!
We are having a new kitchen installed in our new house and want to have a bin fitted into the worktop. One of those ones where you cut a circle in the worktop and have a bin fitted underneath somehow. Has anyone got any ideas of a contraption that we could build ourselves?
The space below the worktop will be open but can be covered up somehow (it is only left open at ...

The fridge/freezer is fitted into a built in cavity and its door is mounted directly to the cavity side wall – thus is separate from the unit until the door is closed.

Space for fridge freezer

Hi

Can anyone tell me how much space between the run of units and a wall I should leave for a 600mm fridge freezer? Some places seem to say a 600 gap is fine, others say you need to leave 700mm and now I've just found one that says 650mm!

Many thanks

Pidge

Advise on Range Cookers Service Void

Hi All

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post or not, but as it has DIY/professional fitter implications I thought I'd go for it.

Essentially I am going to be putting in a 900 dual fuel range cooker into my new kitchen. On the wall behind the cooker I have the water pipes going through to the ground floor bathroom behind the kitchen. I have just had a gas fitter pipe ...

Kitchen worktop advise/prices

Hi,
I'm currently replacing my whole kitchen, and I'm looking for some advise regarding the worktops.

My kitchen layout is a U-shape.
3.5m down left side, 2.5m along bottom, and 2.5m (with a curved cupboard end) on right side.

I've already bought some solid wood oak worktops, and I'm going to start looking for quotes on getting them fitted.

I've litterally got the cupboard carcasses in, and will be putting the door on soon.

What ...

Ikea Factum wall cabinets

I have two Ikea Factum wall cabinets that I am planning to fit in the next day or two - they're the 80x92cm ones, so are quite hefty. My concern is that two screws in each cabinet won't be substantial enough to hold the cabinets up once they are filled. As the two cabinets will be bolted together should I think of them as one unit supported by four screws, rather than two individual units? ...

Tumble Dryer under Gas Hob

We would like to fit a gas hob but owing to a shortage of space, the tumble dryer would have to sit under it.

The dryer is a condenser dryer so would this be possible or not.?

Replacement integrated washing machine

Hi

I hope you can help me...

My Diplomat 8512/1 integrated washing machine has died and I need to replace it. On the (mistaken) assumption that there was a standard template for integrate washing machine hinges I ordered a new Indesit machine... however when it arrived I found out that the hinge points were not compatible, so it was taken away.

What can I do - will I be able to find a replacement integrated ...
