I could not let today go by without paying tribute to the greatest
footballer that ever graced a football pitch.
Being a Mancunian and a Reds fan, I was fortunate enough to witness George
Best play in his time at Manchester United and it's a sad loss for football woldwide as he was internationally recognised as
the greatest fooballer that ever lived.
He wasn't just an adopted Mancunian, he was the first Mancunian.
I guess we
are about to witness the biggest funeral in this country and no one deserves the glowing tributes in recognition of genius
more than George Best.
Our sympathies go out to his family and to all his fans. May God rest his soul
