Pricing of counter tops

Hi Tim,

I am keen to have Spectrum Black quartz worktops. I'm putting together my kitchen design at the moment.

Forgive me if I make a pig's ear of trying to explain my question.

One wall has a run of 3030mm and turns the corner for just 320mm of work top. Would it really bump the price up to have that short amount of work top?In other words, would I be paying for much more than 320mm if it has to be cut off. I could possibly put another tall cupboard in that space but then I would have a dead space in a dark corner.

The other side of the kitchen is a U shape.

Welcome to our forum.

We only charge you for what material is used and not for the excess remainder left unused. I know this is the policy of a number of fabricators but we would only charge £70 for the 320mm return piece which is in ratio to our square metre cost.
