Searching for doors

Postby Guest on Wed Jan 07, 2004 10:36 pm

First let me say what a damn useful site you

have here.

I'm on the look out for some very dark coloured cabinet doors and am having trouble finding anything suitable. The closest i've found so far is the Brasilia in a Moben catalogue -

its a dark stained solid oak door. Can anyone suggest any suppliers of something similar, including all the associated parts to complete the look i'm after?

Thanks in advance for any help.

regards
Tom.

This image below shows a sanded contemporary oak door that has been

Wenge stained to produce the dark effect you mention. The stain is applied by the customer in this case.

These are available to the consumer through specific retailers and upon registration to the forum I will send you a private message via the forum detailing where they can be

purchased.

Alternatively our own supplier's bespoke range of oak doors highlighted at the following link on our site, http://www.kitchensfitted.co.uk/KitchenInspiration/WengeSolidOak.php

offer you a Wenge Oak finished fascia in a variety of sizes.

Thanks for the reply Tim. Thats certainly the sort of thing we're after.
I'm planning either a self install or possibly getting a friend to do the job and am trying to keep the cost down as much as possible - so the word 'bespoke' sends my wallet into a

cold sweat! But, we do want to achieve a certain look and dont mind paying a bit more for doors to suit.

Any info you can give me regarding purchasing the mentioned doors would be greatly recieved. Can I also purchase end panels and all the other sections i might need to complete the

kitchen?
