For a Typical Three Bed House fully central heated with a Combi boiler to offer protection from carbon monoxide poisoning and gas leaks you will need the basic Gas Guardian box kit which consists of :-

If your boiler is fitted in the kitchen area, protection is secured by fitting sensors :-
Fitting a Co & Gas Sensor in the Hall & Stairs Area will ensure a central position for the protection of your home.

The Valve And Controller can be fitted just after the meter for total shut down of gas in the event of a leak
Optionally the valve can be fitted in-line with the appliances you wish to protect against.


For a gas fired central heating system that utilises a back boiler in the living room, it is recommended that you use a
Co & Gas Detector and you Would Fit The Extra Sensor In The Living Area To Protect

 

You could protect yourself in every room of the house by fitting extra sensors for total protection
The Basic kit plus one additional sensor would be sufficient for a typical house.
