For protection from flooding in a typical 3 bedroom house with a Combi Boiler the costs and materials required are as follows:

The Water Guardian basic kit to start protecting against flooding consists of :-

One (1) Controller
One (1) Valve price
Two (2) Probes
One (1) Wall Adapter

To ensure protection the motorised valve is fitted above the mains in Stop Cock.

Probes are then located on the floor of the relevant areas i.e. sink, bath, washing machine etc.

For homes with a hot water cylinder, it is recommended that you use the full protection kit consisting of the following:-

One (1) Controller
Two (2) Valves price
Two (2) Probes
One (1) Wall Adapter


The additional valve would be fitted on the Hot Water Cylinder to detect any leaks form the hot water pipework and to give you total protection on both Hot & Cold water systems

Powered by a standard 9-volt battery, the Water Guardian™ is ideal for installations where AC electrical power is not readily available, saving you the cost of hiring an electrician to install wiring for you.

If AC power is available, the Water Guardian™ also features a power jack for an optional DC adapter. In this case, the 9V battery will serve as a backup power source.
