Apollo solid surfaces are very competitive compared with other solid surfaces on the market due to our buying power. The Slab Technology range offers a 30mm solid surface which has the look of engineered quartz at a fraction of the price.
Thin core acrylic surfaces up to 3mm thickness have become more readily available to UK worktop consumers, do you consider these a threat to the ambitions for your product and if not, why not?
3mm thick surfaces are very limited from a design perspective and cant achieve many of the features that the more prestigious surfaces offer. Apollo products durable and do not delaminate, standing up well to daily wear and tear.
What is your guarantee policy and how efficient do you consider your aftercare to be in the event of a client Manufacturing defect issue?
We have a internal customer services team who deal with all after sales issues and this is backed up by regional Technical Managers.
The difference in cost of solid surfaces when compared with laminate surfaces, is quite substantial. How would you justify a consumer paying the difference to buy your surface?
The difference in purchasing an Apollo kitchen worktop over laminate is huge – there is no comparison in the finish and feel of the two products and installing a solid surface surface into your kitchen increases the value / desirability of your property. Apollo surfaces are also easily repairable.
