As our products have NSF certifications, they are suitable for food contact. The product is also made of secondary raw materials and the whole production is environmentally friendly so there are substantial environmental and health advantages
Do you govern the correct installation of your products and is proper installation connected to the Manufacturing warranty of your surface?
The correct installation of Technistone is governed by our national partners. Nevertheless, the correct installation process is a part of our Warranty conditions and installers should follow our recommended procedures. If not we can guarantee only the defects of the material not the defects of bad installation.
With an increasing number of manufacturers producing quartz surfaces, how competitive do you believe the price of your product to be?
The price is very competitive, we do not offer the lowest price because we maintain very high quality for a reasonable price and we have no wish to offer low quality low cost material.
Thin core quartz surfaces have become more readily available to UK worktop consumers, do you consider these a threat to the ambitions for your product and if not, why not?
No we do not consider it a substantial threat for us. We also produce thin core quartz and we are ready to offer it in case of customer demand. On the contrary we think of it as another chance of increasing our sales.
What is your guarantee policy and how efficient do you consider your aftercare to be in the event of a client Manufacturing defect issue?
Tecnistone worktops are guaranteed for 10 years for use in private houses (not in commercial spaces). If there is any defect during the guarantee period we solve it as quickly as possible and mainly to customer satisfaction
The difference in cost of quartz surfaces when compared with laminate surfaces, is quite substantial. How would you justify a consumer paying the difference to buy your surface?
The quality, life period, mechanical characteristics and general features are much higher for quartz than for laminates. If a customer buys quartz he receives a long-lasting, high quality, easy to maintain, health-safe high-end material. Those characteristics entitle it to a higher price.
