Recruitment

Our aim is to build a network of quality tradesmen to assist us in providing our visitors with an expertly fitted kitchen delivered by installers skilled both manually and socially.

What we can offer installers

As a kitchen reference website with a current visitor count of over 900 per day we receive a large number of national and sometimes international enquiries. Many of our visitors require installers to fit kitchens they have already purchased.

In addition to this we are regularly visited by companies wishing to obtain details of our services.

Our installation duties are fulfilled by new build site contracts for a number of reputable companies and this is a further opportunity to secure work through TFI. We have a number of installers currently working for our associates, Seriously Fit Ltd, on sites nationally.

We are discerning in what companies we undertake contracts for and have no interest in allocating our installers to fit inferior products.

Rates of pay are attractive and are relevant to experience.

We are always welcoming of newly recruited members. Fitters of any age/sex/race/ are welcome to apply for selection.

What we offer developers and kitchen contract divisions

TFI recruit and interview each installer they approve.  The benefits for developers/kcd's who use TFI approved installers are that we have the expertise to:

We advise kcd's to offer installers an induction in their products prior to any contracts being undertaken.

What we look for

We have high criteria, which includes being skilled, courteous and smart. Approved TFI installers value the customer and are eager to grow with the company. We run a happy ship and believe that good camaraderie is essential for a good working atmosphere.

Our team is a mix of happy, loud and quiet and shy people. We all work together to take pride in our work without forgetting that we can have fun on the way.

T Foley's philosophy of "a run of the mill company employs run of the mill people - avoid both" enthuses the entire company.

Employment is on a sub-contract basis and to be eligible as a candidate you must possess a vehicle, clean driving licence, a CIS card, essential tools of the trade i.e. worktop jig, router, flip-over saw, public liability insurance, pleasant attitude, a high standard of workmanship and enthusiasm to gain a reputation with a company that will value your contribution to their success. A willingness to travel is essential. Corgi registration and Part P approval is not a requirement but would be seen as advantageous.

CSCS Registered Operatives

On many of the sites where we undertake contracts, the holding of a CSCS card is now a requirement. We are very interested to hear from any operative who holds a CSCS card and is interested in working for TFI, either as an installer or contracts manager. Please submit your details to the email address below and we will be in touch.

If you are an experienced kitchen installation operative without a CSCS card but would like to be considered for contracts of this type then TFI can help. Please provide us with your details and we will be in touch to advise how CSCS registration can be achieved. CSCS registration via Industry Accreditation is set to expire for experienced kitchen installers on the 7th October 2006. We therefore recommend you take immediate action.

We continually recruit installers for both nationwide new build site contracts and residential contracts to become part of an elite team servicing clients. In order to become part of the team we must first witness your capabilities and will arrange a visit to a current work project. Please indicate acceptance of this when applying. No application is a wasted effort and all installers are kept on our national database so please do apply wherever you reside.

Teams must be capable of high standard work and possess all the attributes detailed. To be eligible for an offer of work teams must be capable of completing high quality kitchen installation. Plumbing and electrical second fix connection skills are required for new build contracts yet on site connections are minimal.

Immediate Opportunities

A superb opportunity now exists for experienced kitchen installers, trained carpenters and joiners to work with TFI and our associate installation company, Seriously Fit Limited on prestigious retail and contract projects that are being carried out in or around London and the South East. Operatives will be part of a small but professional team who are committed to providing our clients with high quality kitchen and fitted furniture installation services.
