What are Corian® Worktops made of?
Corian® is an advanced composite of natural minerals
and pure acrylic polymer.
What Corian® worktop colours are available?
Corian® is available in over seventy colours, with new
colours added every year.
How many Corian® sinks are available?
Currently there are sixteen sinks and bowls to choose
from. Sinks and bowl shapes are currently under review.
Are the sinks made of the same Corian® as the
worktops?
Yes, the sinks are made from Corian® and can be seamlessly
integrated into the top.
How do I care for my Corian® worktop?
One of the great benefits of Corian® is that it is very
easy to clean.
How do Corian® worktops perform? i.e. burn scratch
Corian® worktops are quite scratch and stain resistant. But no
material is indestructible. Corian®, unlike most of it's counterparts, can
be fully repaired.
How do Corian worktops compare to other products?(Granite, Luxore, Staron)
There are many differences between Corian® worktops and other Solid Surfaces. The most
important thing to remember is that the DuPont Corian® Quality Network system
means that the end user is assured of the best possible quality of product
and service. This is backed up by the DuPont Ten Year Limited Installed Warranty.
Can I have the same Corian® worktop colour in ten years time?
There is a good possibility that you may be able to
have the same colour in ten years from now. Very few Corian® worktop colours have been
deleted from the range in the last ten years.
Can Corian worktops delaminate?
Corian® worktops, can't delaminate because it is solid all the
way through. Before considering other surfaces that are described as being similar or are described as being a Solid Surface, compare the thickness in comparison. Corian® is 13mm thick and can incorporate drainer grooves.
Why can't I see the join in my Corian worktop?
The joints are produced by using an adhesive that is
produced from the base ingredients of Corian®, which is why most of the
time the joints are inconspicuous.
