10 year Manufacturers Warranty available with all Quartz Worktops from TFI

All our Quartz worktops come with a 10 year manufacturers warranty and we would not consider offering any bespoke worktop that arrives with less - neither should you. Why? Because, for the work we've done over the years in trying to offer quality at the best value, we remain adamant that any manufacturer of quartz worktops wishing to offer them via our website, must have complete faith in their product. If they reflect little faith with little or no warranty then they should not be considered for retail - simple as that.

Whether you are purchasing from the High St or on the internet this along wth other relevant questions should be in your notepad. When you consider that laminate kitchen worktops arrive with good warranties, it's easy to believe that bespoke products such as Quartz surfaces, should arrive with longer guarantees yet some do not and I'm aware of some that have no guarantee aside from the statutory one year after installation.

Do Quartz worktops have visible joints?

Quartz worktops, like granite worktops will have a visible seam at areas where two surface join at a corner elevation or where one length exceeds the maimum fabricated length which for most quartz surfaces is 3020mm. What we can say is that we aim to make seams as inconspicuous as we possibly can but if you requre seamless joints for your surface then you should consider our Corian worktops.

Are quartz worktops easy to maintain and can I place hot pans directly on the surface?

Yes, Quartz worktops are non porous and easy to maintain and no, you cannot place hot pans on the surface nor should you cut directly on to any worktop. Simply clean your tops with a soap and water solution and for best preservation of the appearance try to mop up spillages immediately after they occur. Always use a protective board for cutting and chopping and consider pan trivets which we can provide for your worktop project, These are a safe way of ensuring your worktop remains in top condition.
