Sensa Granite Worktops
Sensa Granite worktops are a groundbreaking product in more ways than one. It is the first granite that we here at TFI felt comfortable in offering our visitors and secondly, Sensa, unlike other granites, comes with a 15 year manufacturers stain warranty that also covers external use within reason, i.e. subject to regular normal cleaning. As a granite worktop the benefits to the homeowner is clearly evident in that Sensa Graite kitchen worktops, unlike other granite worktops available in the UK, arrive with a 10 year manufacturers warranty.
Manufactured by Cosentino, the Silestone producers, Sensa Granite worktops are also suitable for outdoor use and, unlike quartz surfaces, Sensa Granite is UV resistant.

How does SenGuard™ work?
SenGuard™ is a protective agent on a small molecular level that penetrates the stone’s porous surface to form a chemical bond. This protective agent changes the surface tension of the stone, creating resistance to liquids and providing durable and long-lasting stain protection.
What is the difference between SenGuard™ and common granite sealers?
There are many sealers on the market that claim to safeguard granite surfaces. Common granite sealers contain large molecular weight agents. These agents create a mechanical bond that protects granite by blocking or sealing the porosity of the stone. However, these types of sealers maintain a weaker bond that is easy to break down through the use of common household cleaners; therefore, periodic re-application of the sealer is required to prolong the life of granite. Furthermore, large molecular weight agents do not allow the stone to breathe, thereby reducing the resilience of the sealer.
Unlike common sealers, SenGuard™ offers a superior protective shield that chemically anchors to the stone’s surface creating a permanent bond.

LETTER OF WARRANTY
COSENTINO, S.A. guarantees the registered owner of the installed SENSA® product against cut to size defects of the product for a period of TEN (10) YEARS as of the date of purchase. Please keep the purchase invoice.
This Letter of Warranty shall only be fully valid if the consumer has registered within 30 days following purchase of the product, as specified in the corresponding paragraph, and submits the original invoice or sales receipt (indicating the date of sale and the name of the product installer), placing the defective product at the disposal of COSENTINO, S.A.
COSENTINO, S.A. reserves the right to not offer the free warranty service if the requirements established in the previous paragraph are not satisfied or if the information provided by the consumer is false, incomplete or illegible.
WHAT CASES ARE INCLUDED IN THE WARRANTY
The obligation of COSENTINO, S.A. for a period of TEN (10) YEARS to replace the defective product in the terms and conditions specified herein, with the same features (type of granite, thickness, etc.) as those of the product acquired by the client.
This warranty covers SENSA® surfaces that are installed permanently in the consumer’s home (or property intended for use other than as a residence). However, use for flooring, paving and any commercial purpose are not covered by this warranty.
It is important that the choice of colour and finish be final before the purchase is fully agreed and confirmed, since later changes of choice are not covered by this warranty.
COSENTINO, S.A. guarantees to the installed product registered proprietor against the possible defects of the protector treatment incorporated in the product. Such warranty shall only be given when all the instructions contained in the Product Manual (especially, not to exceed the stain exposition time already contained in the Stained Table of such manual) are followed and completed.
This Letter of Warranty is, in any case, subject to strict observance by the consumer of the instructions of use and upkeep of the SENSA® product that are specified in the Product Manual, which shall be at your disposal in the web page
www.sensabycosentino.com.
WHAT CASES ARE EXCLUDED FROM THE WARRANTY:
Problems caused by an incorrect finish/production of the product, by inappropriate installation methods or by any other modification or manipulation of the original SENSA® product, such as variations of colour, thermal impact or inappropriate chemical treatment, as acid application, nitric acid, another sealers different from SENSA ®, etc., performed by third parties that do not belong to COSENTINO, S.A.
Damages arising from the improper use, including but not limited to (i) use of the product for purposes for which it is not intended; (ii) installation or use of t he product in a manner that does not respect applicable technical or security regulations, by any third party that does not belong to COSENTINO, S.A. (iii) non compliance of the instructions
of the Product Manual (especially to exceed the stain exposition time already contained in the Stained Table of such Manual); and (iv) mechanical damages produced by the proprietor, such as for informational purposes, noticeable cracks and crevices along with scratches on the polished surface.
Natural disasters, damages caused by interaction with other products, irregular exposition of the product to extreme weather conditions or any other cause that is beyond the control of COSENTINO, S.A. are also excluded.
Any consequent or unforeseen damages, or expense, aside from the product itself, including for information purposes but not limited to, damages to other products, installations or additional or supplementary repairs in connection with plumbing, electricity or masonry work that may be necessary to repair or replace the SENSA®
product covered by this warranty, are exclusively excluded from this warranty and shall
be the exclusive responsibility of the consumer.
Likewise, differences between samples and photographs of any SENSA® product and the real product purchased are also excluded. Furthermore, marks produced by the material’s own components and polish defects are also excluded, given that under no circumstance does COSENTINO, S.A. commercialise products presenting, for whatever reason, said defects.
This warranty shall no longer be valid in the event of repairs and/or manipulations of the product without due verification by COSENTINO, S.A.
This warranty only covers replacement of the defective product with another of similar characteristics (type of granite, thickness, etc.) as the one acquired by the client.
However, if the colour has been discontinued, it will be replaced, where possible, by a similar colour available at that time.
SENSA warranty is non-transferrable.
HOW TO USE THIS GUARANTEE
To be effective, the warranty must be activated at Sensa website (www.sensabycosentino.com). There, the data of the fabricator and the kitchen studio must be filled in. We recommend the activation is done in the kitchen studio or at the
Fabricator’s Headquarters , when the sale is closed. Once the activation process is done, the customer can print a copy of the warranty.
HOW TO PRESENT A CLAIM
If you think there is a defect in your SENSA® product and want to make a claim under this warranty, you must advise COSENTINO S.A. Customer Service by fax, email and/ or letter, or by phone, indicating the number of the warranty:

WHAT COSENTINO, S.A.U. WILL DO IF THE PRODUCT HAS A DEFECT
If a defect in the SENSA® product comes to light within the term and conditions of this warranty, COSENTINO, S.A., after making relevant checks, will repair or replace the materials as necessary. COSENTINO, S.A. is authorized to provide a warranty for SENSA® granite surfaces.
This warranty applies in the country where the product has been distributed by Cosentino and is not valid outside of this territory.
