The downturn in the economy has led to consumers looking for better value and they are now doing much more research before spending.
For many retailers and service providers this is bad news. House builders in particular are suffering and this is certainly borne out by the reduction of quote requests from that sector via our own website over the past two months.

As some of you may already know, I’ve been pretty vocal over the years on a particular subject – the regulation of kitchen installers.
In April 2002 I wrote the following to the KSA (Kitchen Specialists Association), now known as the KBSA, (Kitchen Bedroom and Bathroom Specialists Association)
