Why would you consider purchasing your Kitchen Worktops from TFI ?
Well I can think of every reason but I would wouldn't I? How can our services and products be distinguished from other companies wishing to win your business?
The answer to that is evident when you browse our website and you will immediately see that we don’t offer every worktop available to the buyer. The reason being is that we research to discover the true quality of a product before we offer it to our visitors.
That business ethos has served us very well because it’s my belief that

It’s not lost on me that many more consumers than ever undertake research when considering purchasing over the internet and the most frequent question I get asked is “How long have you been trading in kitchens?”
I can answer that we have been trading for over 30 years and that this history helps our case when a customer is deciding who they should order with but more recently there is an even greater concern about history on the internet and the fact that a website can be set up overnight by anybody wishing to trade and especially in our kitchen

Through this kitchen blog you'll be able to pick up
on the very latest ideas and products, as well as special offers, inside information
and advice on renovating, repairing or redecorating your kitchen. Kitchen DIY
and kitchen design is a fast moving business, with technology increasingly leading
the way in terms of materials, and what can be achieved with them. If you're looking
for a new kitchen worktop, a new unit, new appliances or simply inspiration from
the latest trends and ideas, then this kitchen blog may well help guide you in
the direction that's right for you.
But although this is labelled as being
a blog about kitchens, fitted kitchens and kitchen design, in truth it is generally
much more than that. When decorating almost any room in your house you can invariably
take inspiration, ideas or complete materials from one room and apply it elsewhere.
Kitchens are seen as being different, unique. Kitchens need floors that are washable,
units that can be used to store everything from casserole dishes to teaspoons,
appliances such as cookers, fridge freezers and washing machines, and worktops
for food preparation. Yet although this all sounds as though ideas and concepts
applicable to kitchen design would never be appropriate elsewhere, as many of
the blog entries already published in this kitchen blog have demonstrated, often
this is not the case.
A kitchen blog... that's not about kitchens?
For
example one of the prime benefits of our Coloran acrylic kitchen doors is that
they are entirely waterproof. Clearly this is an important attribute since wooden
cupboard doors in kitchens clouded with steam and humidity are often prone to
warping over time, resulting in cupboard doors which don't shut properly. However,
acrylic kitchen doors don’t suffer at the hands of steam, smoke, spilt oil, leaking
bowls or messy accidents.
It is exactly this same attribute which makes
them ideal in bathrooms too. Many people overlook this point, and I think the
main reason is because often we tend to imagine kitchen unit doors in our heads
as being like the ones our parents had, or which we saw in traditional kitchen
showrooms a few years ago. Certainly such traditional doors and fixtures are still
available, but the range is so much broader now that almost any colour and style
is possible.
One of the advantages of modern acrylic materials such as
those used in Coloran kitchen doors, or in Corian worktops is that it can be thermoformed,
vacuum formed, cut or moulded to almost any shape, size or design. This means
that it is now possible to not only create kitchen designs which are entirely
unique, highly imaginative and completely perfect for your own kitchen design,
but it is also possible to transfer those same benefits and advantages into the
bathroom, creating unique designs which are waterproof, visually stunning and
totally unique to you.
